Terms of Service

Welcome to www.annjoy-universe.com (the “Site”), operated by AnnJoy Universe (“we”, “us”, “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Site, our content, the online Store, Wishlist, and Booking of coaching sessions. By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

You must be 18+ and able to enter a binding contract. You are responsible for complying with the laws of your jurisdiction.

Some features require an account. You’re responsible for safeguarding credentials and activities under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

• Content. Articles, media, and materials are for information and inspiration only.
• Store. We offer physical and/or digital products; details, pricing, and availability appear on product pages.
• Wishlist. Visitors may voluntarily make monetary contributions (“Gifts”) to support [Anna]. See §10.
• Booking. You may request 1:1 coaching sessions; scheduling/communication may be handled manually after your request. See §9.

• Prices are shown in EUR (unless stated otherwise) and may change any time before your order is accepted. Where applicable, taxes (e.g., VAT) are shown at checkout or on the invoice.
• Promotions/Codes. Promo codes are one-time, non-transferable, may be limited/excluded, and can be withdrawn where permitted.
• Obvious errors. We may correct typographical or manifest errors in price/description. See also §5 on order acceptance.

Order process. Your order is an offer to buy. We accept only when we send an explicit Order Confirmation email or dispatch the product. We may reject or cancel prior to acceptance (e.g., unavailability, error, suspected fraud).

Payments. Processed via third parties (e.g., Revolut or other providers). You authorize us to charge your selected payment method for the total amount due (including taxes, shipping, and fees). We do not store full card PANs. Your use of third-party services is governed by their terms and privacy policies. We are not liable for third-party failures beyond our reasonable control.

• Physical goods. Estimated delivery times appear at checkout or by email. Unless you chose a carrier not offered by us, risk passes to you only when you (or a person you nominate) take physical possession of the goods. If you select your own carrier (not offered by us), risk passes when we deliver the goods to that carrier.
• International shipments. You are responsible for any import duties, taxes, and customs clearance fees in your country.
• Digital goods. Access is provided electronically after acceptance. See §8 for withdrawal rules.

• Unless stated otherwise on a product page or required by law:
  • Physical goods. You may withdraw within 14 days from the day after delivery. You must take reasonable care and may be responsible for diminished value caused by handling beyond what’s necessary to establish nature, characteristics, and functioning. You bear return shipping if we informed you of this upfront and unless the item is defective or misdescribed.
  • Refund timing. We refund within 14 days of your withdrawal notice, but may withhold until we receive the goods or proof of return shipment. Refunds go to the original payment method where possible.
  • Digital goods. Non-refundable once access has begun where you gave your express consent and acknowledgment (see §8).
  • Custom/personalized items. Non-refundable except for defects or as required by law.

If you are an EU/UK consumer, you generally have 14 days to withdraw from distance contracts:

• Goods: 14 days from the day after delivery.
• Services (incl. Booking): 14 days from contract conclusion. If you requested performance during the withdrawal period, you may owe a pro-rata amount for services already supplied. If a service is fully performed within the withdrawal period at your express request and with your acknowledgment that you will lose the right to withdraw, that right is lost.
• Digital content (not supplied on a tangible medium): if you expressly consent to immediate supply and acknowledge loss of the right to withdraw, the right is lost when access begins. At checkout we present a checkbox:
  “I consent to immediate access to the digital content and acknowledge that I lose my 14-day withdrawal right once access starts.”

A model withdrawal form is available on request (§21). This section does not apply to Gifts (§10).

• Nature. Coaching is educational and supportive; it is not therapy, medical, legal, or financial advice. No guarantees of outcomes. If you are in crisis, contact local services immediately.
• Scheduling. Times are shown in [default time zone, e.g., Europe/Helsinki] unless stated otherwise; calendar invites will reflect the time zone indicated in the invite. Final time and meeting details are confirmed by our team.
• Rescheduling & Cancellation. You may request rescheduling ≥24 hours before the session; we’ll use reasonable efforts to accommodate. Cancellations <24 hours or no-shows may be charged in full, unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.
• Consumer withdrawal for services. See §8 (pro-rata/waiver rules).
• Late arrivals. Sessions end at the scheduled time; late arrival may shorten your session without a refund.
• Recording. Audio/video recording requires prior written consent from all parties.

• Voluntary nature. Payments via the Wishlist are voluntary Gifts to support [Anna]. Gifts do not purchase goods or services and do not create an entitlement to receive the listed item.
• Use of funds. We may allocate Gifts toward the listed item or other purposes supporting [Anna], unless expressly stated otherwise.
• Non-refundability. Gifts are generally non-refundable, except where required by law or where a transaction is cancelled for compliance reasons. Gifts are not tax-deductible donations unless explicitly stated.
• Compliance. We may decline, hold, or refund Gifts that appear fraudulent, abusive, or non-compliant with sanctions/AML rules.
• Third-party links. “Proceed to Gift” may redirect you to a third-party payment page (e.g., Revolut).

You agree not to: (a) violate any law or third-party rights; (b) transmit unlawful, harmful, obscene, or harassing content; (c) access non-public areas or interfere with the Site; (d) use automated means to scrape, harvest, or overload systems. We may suspend/terminate access for violations. If you believe content infringes your rights, contact annjoylife555@gmail.com (notice-and-takedown).

All Site content (text, graphics, video, trademarks) is owned by us or our licensors and protected by law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and view for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, distribute, adapt, or create derivative works without prior written permission.

If you submit content (e.g., reviews, messages), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, display, and distribute such content in connection with the Site and our services. You represent you have necessary rights and that your submissions do not infringe third-party rights or laws.

Our processing of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy (and, where applicable, Cookie Policy) available at /privacy. By using the Site, you acknowledge our practices, including manual communication via email or messaging platforms to process orders, Gifts, and Bookings.

The Site and services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied (including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement). We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Site, Store, Booking, or Wishlist, even if advised of the possibility. Nothing excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or death/personal injury caused by negligence where such limitation is unlawful.

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or violation of law/third-party rights.

We are not liable for delay or failure to perform due to events beyond our reasonable control (e.g., acts of God, epidemics, war, sanctions, labor disputes, utility outages, supplier failures, or platform outages).

We may update these Terms from time to time. The Effective Date will show the latest changes. Material changes will be notified on the Site. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance; changes apply prospectively unless stated otherwise or required by law.

We may suspend or terminate access at any time, with or without notice, including for suspected violations. On termination, provisions which by nature should survive (e.g., IP, disclaimers, limitations, governing law) shall survive.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland. The courts of Helsinki, Finland have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer protection laws of your country provide otherwise. EU consumers may use the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform to seek out-of-court resolution.

Model Withdrawal Form (EU/UK Consumers) — on request. To withdraw from a Store purchase within 14 days (where applicable), email annjoylife555@gmail.com with: “I hereby withdraw from my contract for the purchase of [product], ordered on [date], received on [date], name, address, date.”

• Assignment. We may assign our rights/obligations; you may not assign without our consent.
• Severability. If any provision is invalid, the remainder remains in force.
• No waiver. Failure to enforce is not a waiver.
• Entire agreement. These Terms (and referenced policies) are the entire agreement regarding the Site/services and supersede prior terms.
• Language & precedence. If these Terms are translated, the English version controls in case of conflict, unless mandatory local law requires otherwise.
